It’s so important to protect our work as freelancers and make sure we create contracts and stick to them. There are so many people out there who refuse to pay after the work has been done

I agree with what you had to say! Freelancers should be proud about what they’re doing and good results will come on the way.

I work as a freelancer and being one is a dream come true as I can work wherever or wherever I want as I don’t need to report to anyone. Creating own legal and financial protections to continue enjoying all the benefits freelancers do have is a must.

Good points to ponder. Sometimes, security is the last thing we think of when it comes to creating and publishing.

This is so interesting and a great advice. Freelancing is something I have already put my feet in, exploring more these days, this is so helpful.

So many caveats when you are working for yourself. I hadn’t thought of a lot of these ideas – and I’ve been on my own since 1998.

It’s so frustrating when clients don’t pay for work once it’s been completed. One of the troubles about being a freelancer, I’m afraid. Fortunately, there are many benefits too!
